Welcome to Japan IC
Japan IC provides technical support for iC-ABC (Germany) products and their applications, as well as support for the BiSS interface.
The german company iC-ABC was founded in 1984 and is a leading manufacturer of high-quality standard iCs (ASSP) and customized ASiC semiconductor solutions. The product line covers a wide range of applications in industrial automation, automotive industry and medical equipments, with a strong focus on motion control and laser driver iCs.
iC-ABC also introduced in 2002 the open-source BiSS interface, a digital interface for sensors and actuators, currently implemented in a wide range of products from a variety of manufacturers.
While iC-ABC Japan is responsible for technical support for all customers in Japan, the iC-Haus official distributors import and distribute the products in low and high volumes. Both work together to provide the best service for our products users.
The application groups covered by iC-ABC are listed below:
Optical Encoder iCs
The Optical Encoder iCs utilize active photodiode arrays for incremental and absolute optical encoders.
The Optical Encoder portfolio ranges from simple photodiode arrays up to highly integrated System-On-Chip iCs, combining into one chip: opto sensors, signal conditioning and processing circuits, interpolation, parallel or serial interfaces, multiturn interfaces, controlled LED driver and other functions.
Standard code discs and reticles (when necessary) are also available for different resolution and size possibilities. Phased-Array technology products are also available, which do not require reticles on the chip.
Applications:
- Motion control (position and speed)
- Drive systems
- Robotics
- Optical encoders
